Thank you for everyone who has taken part and helped raise funds for your community hub - The Beacon Hub.
This beautiful reproduction of the bell was handcrafted and donated to us by John Osborne, our talented local craftsman, who has recently appeared on BBC 2’s ‘Saved and Remade’. This Replica Bell was exhibited at various local businesses around Portishead!
The free prize draw was held on 7th August and we were thrilled to present the replica Portishead Battery Point Bell to Janice our prize draw winner. Janice and John Bryant have lived in Portishead for over 30 years and were shocked to have completed the winning prize draw slip at The Beacon Hub - "We still can't quite believe we've won!".
