Why "Beacon"
The name, The Beacon Hub, reflects our vision to be a light on the Portishead High Street. A beacon represents a sign of hope in the darkness. The Beacon Hub is here to shine a light into our lives.
Why "BE" ?
This brand message is inspired by St Patrick's words:

We all need a space to "just be" - nothing more and nothing less. You are good enough as you are. You are enough in God's eyes. And we created this brand identity to remind, encourage and inspire ourselves during the wobbly times that we can just be - for as long as we need.
"Beacon 40"
We have set up a fundraising group named "Beacon 40" in hope of raising a target of £40,000 to repay our loan for this project. There will be creative fundraising ideas on this website, so watch this space.
Our first "Win The Portishead Bell" campaign which in June 2021 involved local businesses and venues.
